Logging Truck Accident Ends in Death

In Lancaster, Pennsylvania this past Tuesday morning, a 76-year-old man was killed in an accident involving a logging truck. The accident occurred on a fairly dangerous stretch of road on S.C. 5 near Reservation Road. According to police reports, the 76-year-old man parked his vehicle on the side of the road and got out of the truck for an unknown reason. Soon after this, a logging truck was driving by and hit the man's truck from behind. The impact caused the truck to hit the man as well. The injuries were so severe that the 76-year-old man lost his life. Reports indicate that the driver of the logging truck was not injured in the collision.
