Flaming Semi Leaves One Dead in Colorado

In Avon, Colorado yesterday, a semi-truck was hauling two trailers when it lost control. The trailers it was hauling were sent plummeting off of the overpass that the truck was traveling on. One of those trailers landed directly on the driver's side of a vehicle below. Surprisingly, the only death in this case was the semi-truck driver himself. Witnesses of the accident explain that as soon as the truck made impact with the ground below, there was a huge plume of fire and an explosion. Some good Samaritans went to rescue the person in the vehicle that was hit. There was a passenger in the semi-truck that also survived.
The flames were so high that many were amazed that the entire bridge didn't come crashing down. An autopsy is currently being conducted to identify the driver of the semi-truck and it will also soon be determined, pending an accident investigation, what the cause of the crash was.
