Man Dies in Virginia Tanker Crash

According to reports from state police, a man died last night in a tanker truck crash. The truck was hauling 9,000 gallons of gasoline at the time of the collision, which could have proved very dangerous. Trucks that carry toxic chemicals are at risk for fire and explosion which could not only harm themselves, but other passengers on the road. Reports seem to indicate that in this accident, the truck driver was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. This type of negligence may suggest other negligence that could have contributed to the accident, although the exact cause of the crash is not yet known. Although the trucking industry has been cracking down on regulations as of late, many drivers still practice unsafe driving that leads to the injury of not only themselves, but others on the road.
